Recommended Procedures for Modifying a Reservation:

Most engines do not allow for a modification to an existing booking. You should use the online cancelation system to find your reservation and determine if the service will allow for the modification you require.
If you cannot modify your existing reservation, please check the policy on cancelation charges before canceling your booking. It is important that you understand that some reservation booking companies charge a fee for canceling a booking - even when a replacement booking is made. If a fee applies, you may want to try emailing or calling customer support about the required modification - particularly if it does not require a booking date change. They may waive the service fees.
If you need to change a reservation and fees do not apply, we recommend that you first make a new booking with the new desired reservation details. A room released as a cancelation may not necessarily be returned to the room inventory immediately - do not assume that canceling a room will automatically make another one available. Please note: Sometimes you will need to use a slightly different name to make a second booking - particularly if it is the same property with overlapping dates.

Once the new reservation has been confirmed, cancel the original booking.
